THOSE WHO FIGHT -
Events and Fundraisers you can be a part of to fight human trafficking
As a young woman just starting out in life, I have very little time to do anything but work and try my hardest to survive until graduation. Most of the people I surround myself with are similarly busy - with hardly enough time to stop for a cup of coffee before they're off to the next engagement. Life is hectic and crazy. Stopping for a moment to dedicate time to something outside of your normal schedule takes dedication and motivation that most of us just don't have time for.
My point?
Unless you take time to plan for it in advance, you will never have time to learn more about and/or join the fight against slavery and trafficking in the U.S. It will just be one more thing you'd like to have time for that gets left behind in the whirlwind of this crazy life.
To that end, I want to make a list (a short one, I promise) of events, activities, and fundraisers that are happening in my area - the Denver area - in the next few months. Maybe this list is something I can take advantage of, in planning my activism in advance. My hope is that within your own crazy life, you might find a few hours for just one or two of these as well. Every little action taken makes a difference, and we're all in this fight together.

I included this one because even if you don't have the chance to attend one of the upcoming events in Denver listed above, you can still be part of the movement and learning from people who know about trafficking in your area. Check it out!
